Ambitious Project — Green Wall for Galerie Lafayette 2016
Conceived as an iconic intervention, the green wall project for Galerie Lafayette aimed to transform the façadethrough the installation of a vertical botanical composition.
Envisioned as true design elements, these green walls were intended to bring a natural and elegant touch, enhancing the architecture and enriching the visual experience of visitors.
An additional dimension was to be created by hanging botanical vines from the ceiling, cascading above the display windows to form a living, aerial curtain, a suspended dialogue between greenery and light. These cascading elements would have offered a poetic and immersive depth, inviting visitors to experience the space as a suspended garden within the heart of the gallery.
Although this project was not realized, it reflects the ambition and vision of contemporary landscape design, where nature and architecture converse to create environments that are simultaneously refined, innovative, and profoundly poetic.
